This feeling must be present almost every day, for most of the day, for over a two week or more time period. It can have a negative effect on your relationships, friendships, work, and education.

STRESS & TRAUMA
Stress is the body's reaction to any change that requires an adjustment or response. The body reacts to these changes with physical, mental, and emotional responses. Stress is a normal part of life. You can experience stress from your environment, your body, and your thoughts. Stress that continues without relief can lead to a condition called distress – a negative stress reaction.
Trauma is damage to the mind that occurs as a result of a distressing event. Trauma is often the result of an overwhelming amount of stress that exceeds one's ability to cope, or integrate the emotions involved with that experience.
We are a unit and what affects one in the unit affects all. This is a 75 minutes session tailored to explore family dynamics and to build strengths within the family.
Anxiety means feeling worried, nervous or fearful. We all sometimes experience anxiety and some anxiety can be helpful. There are many kinds of anxiety, but all share common symptoms. Anxiety becomes a problem when it gets in the way of one's ability to participate in day to day life.
